Neil Blavin, DDS

Dr. Neil Blavin is a caring and experienced dentist, providing dental services in Michigan for over twenty years. He has a special focus working with patients who are afraid to go to the dentist. Since 1985, he has successfully and safely provided sedation dentistry to thousands of patients who otherwise may not have been able to go to the dentist at all.

Education & Experience

Dr. Neil Blavin graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1985. Upon graduation, he completed a residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center and studied advanced techniques in dental care and anesthesia.
He was awarded fellowships from both the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Hospital Dentistry.
Dr. Blavin opened his current sedation dentistry practice in Livonia in 1990. Since then, he has continued to learn the most modern dental techniques, attending over 2000 hours of continuing education in every facet of dental care.

Personal

Dr. Blavin has been married for over twenty years. He and his wife have four wonderful children. Dr. Blavin's hobbies include reading, sailing, camping, coaching hockey, playing basketball, skiing, and traveling with his family. Dr. Blavin is also very active in his religious community.

Marlene - Talented University of Michigan trained Hygienist makes your visits fun with her friendly way. Has been with the office since 1993.

Gail - Smiling, friendly Gail knows everything about insurance and has been front and center for over 15 years. Truly dedicated to helping our patients, she drives in every week from her home in the thumb area.

Terri - A newer addition to our staff, completing her hygiene training at the University of Michigan a few years ago. You will primarily see Terri in the evenings.

Lori - Has been in dentistry for over twenty years, also working at a pediatric dental office and for an oral surgeon. She is usually assisting the doctor, but can also be found running the business end of the practice.

Elizabeth - Has been my main assistant for over ten years. Busy making sure everything goes smoothly with the clinical end of your visit, and always ready with a laugh and a smile.

Dr. Aaron Zeevi (Not shown) Is a periodontist who trained at the University of Detroit and come into our office to place implants, bone grafts, and to do complex gum treatments and surgeries.
